STEP 1 | TRIM THE WICK
Trim wicks to ¼ of an inch before lighting your candle. This helps prevent soot and extends the life of your candle.
The number of wicks your candle has playsan importantrole infragrance throw,which refers to how strongly a fragranceis experienced inyour space.
Large rooms, forexample, benefit from larger candles with multiple wicks, so that more fragrance is released into the air.
STEP 2 | GET EVEN
Allow the wax to melt and pool all the way to the candle’s edges with every light in order for it to burn evenly. This prevents your candle from tunneling, or creating abuildup of wax as it burns.
The fill of your candle, or how much wax is poured into it, also plays a role in the way your candle can alter your ambience.
Our clean-burning, proprietary coconut wax blend is softer than its soy counterpart, which allows more fragrance oil to disperse into the air. The larger the wax pool when lit, the more fragrance will be dispersed into the air.
STEP 3 | THE FINISHING TOUCH
Use the candle’s lid or a candle snuffer to extinguish the candle without smoke or splashing.
